Annapolis, MD / June 3, 2019 – ClearHealth Quality Institute™ (CHQI), an independent health care accrediting body, today announced that it seeks nominations for new members to serve on its Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board constitutes the governance arm that drives CHQI’s business and operational decisions and is responsible for the appointment of all committees, their membership, and scope of work.
“The CHQI Advisory Board, which represents a diverse group of expert stakeholders, has been instrumental in the successful launch of two crucial CHQI programs over the past year – the CHQI Telemedicine Accreditation Program for telemedicine providers, and the CHQI Mental Health Parity Accreditation Program for health insurers,” said Michael Gomes, CEO, CHQI. “We look forward to welcoming new members with qualifications that can continue to set the industry standard for health care accreditation.”
Advisory Board members shall have a significant amount of relevant health care experience and/or leadership experience, including clinical and/or administrative experience in the health care field, with a health care provider or system, health plan, health insurer, health benefits administrator, health care regulator, health care law firm, public health studies program, public health agency, drug or device manufacturer, clinical research organization, or other organization involved in the health care system.
