The MH/SUD Parity Accreditation Program Standards and Guide represents the nation’s first accreditation standards for health insurers and health benefit administrators to assess compliance with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA). The document provides a roadmap for organizations to develop, implement and maintain a parity compliance program pursuant to MHPAEA requirements.
The MH/SUD Parity Accreditation Program Standards are made up of five key sections:
At what part during the process do organizations receive a copy of the standards?
Organizations licensing ParityManager and/or approved to apply for accreditation will receive a copy of the MH/SUD Parity Accreditation Program Standards and Guide once payment has been received.
If I purchase the standards and then decide license ParityManager and/or to apply for accreditation, should I apply for a refund?
If an organization purchases the standards and later decides to apply for accreditation and/or license ParityManager, the purchase price of the standards will be deducted from the application/licensing fees.
CHQI's Telemedicine Accreditation Program Standards provide instructions and guidance to organizations seeking accreditation for a variety of different telemedicine clinical service lines and delivery models.
